Our tutoring
philosophy revolves around individuality. We tailor our approach to a student’s
particular needs and style of learning. Each student is unique. This is a core
belief of ours and we try our utmost to address all our student’s needs,
concerns and particular interests. With our own background in education,
tutoring and childcare, we hope to foster an open and communicative
environment. This enables us to identify our student’s strengths and weaknesses
and, in the process, set the groundwork for a stronger academic record. We
know, as both former students and current educators, the value in looking
beyond a GPA. It is absolutely crucial that students see the greater value in
what they’re learning – what it means, why it matters, and how they can come to
enjoy (and even love) the lessons taught in school. If students feel more
excited about and prepared for school, we know we’re on the right track. But
learning is a process without an end. Our goal is to make sure students
continually nurture their own path of personal and intellectual enrichment. This
philosophy has encouraged us to persist with our own education, even after
finishing college, and we wish to share these lessons with our students.
